Minister Kevin Paxton

Theologian Patrick D. Miller writes that “the church in its praise thus enacts on behalf of the world the true character of the world in the presence of God.” The role of music in the church is praise, and The Lake of the Woods Church is excited to have Kevin lead worship as the Worship Minister.

Kevin has received a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Master’s degree in Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, in Jacksonville, Florida.

In their free time, Kevin and his wife Kara can be found at a variety of sporting events, trying new restaurants in and around town, or taking their black labrador retriever, Rory, on fun adventures.
