Each Sunday morning, The Lake of the Woods Church offers a variety of Sunday School classes that will appeal to your interests, age group and your time schedule.

Children's Sunday School Classes

Held in the lower level of the Worship Center

Children's Choir Rehersal also during the 11:00 a.m. Sunday School hour.

how to follow Jesus as their Savior and Lord

 

Youth Sunday School

Youth (6th through 12th grade)
Higher Grounds Coffee meets in the lower level. Breakfast and conversation begins at 9:30. Musical worship starts at 9:45 followed by Bible teaching and discussion in small groups.

Youth are then encouraged to attend the 11:00 Contemporary Worship in the Worship Center.

 

College and Career Class

Men and Women in the workplace and college are invited to this new class of Bible discussion. It offers a way to form new relationships with others and a closer walk with Jesus Christ. This group also comes back together for shared suppers, Bible study and prayer on Tuesday nights.

Adult Sunday School

8:30 a.m. Classes

The Bereans: The Bible tells us how the people of the city of Berea searched the Bible to learn more about God and Jesus. We can do the same. All are invited to this time of Bible teaching and group discussion. Current topic is the life of Jesus in the Gospel of John.

Bible Basics and Beyond: This class teaches how to study the Bible and will offer an opportunity to ask questions about the Bible. Current topic is Bible prophecy and the Book of Revelation.

9:45 a.m. Classes

The Reflectors: The discussion and teaching about the Early Church and the Gospel speaks to all of us on the go. Let the Word of God refresh us in our faith journey and so better show Jesus Christ out to others.

Led by: Bill Engels
Location: Founders Room 402


Family Foundations: Making new friends and knowing God are the core of this relaxed class. The teaching and discussions will draw us closer to Jesus Christ in living our faith day to day. Topic in January is Paul's Letter to the Romans.

11:00 a.m. Classes

Bible Basics and Beyond: This class teaches how to study the Bible and will offer an opportunity to ask questions about the Bible. Current topic is Bible prophecy and the Book of Revelation.

The Bible's Tough Questions: God does not shy away from talking about real life, but some of the words can be hard to process. Come and be a part of this study of the questions we all ask.
