Youth Prayer Coordinator -
to coordinate a youth prayer chain. Gather youth prayer
requests and submit them to the prayer chain or intercede
for the requests. This job will require some imagination
to develop the process.
Parents - Moms and
Dads of children in youth activities to volunteer your time
for one youth event a year. Please come
out and have some fun with your student at one of our events.
You may find that you have a great time and want to come to
more activities.
Life Coaches – Our
Life Coach program serves students and their families with
various needs.
We are praying that
God will send us mentors for young people as role models of
the Christian faith.
Public Relations for
Youth Events – If
God has given you a behind-the-scenes talent for public relations
and you are
willing to get the word out on all our youth events, WE NEED
YOU! Please assist Pastor Colson and Mr. Lee Finger in getting
the news out about everything that is going on in the Youth
Dept.
Adult Leader for Youth
Visitation Team – an adult
leader to represent LOWC in visits to youth and families.
We can’t
find enough hours in the day to visit all the teens interested
in our program. If you have the experience please assist
Pastor Colson in carrying out this important activity.
Higher
Power Ministry Team - Current opportunities include:
- Assistant Director of Puppets,
- Assistant Director of Dance,
- Assistant Director of Drama,
- Assistant Director of Art,
- Assistant Director of Administration and
- Ministry Steward for Higher Power.
All are all new positions available this year. If you
have interest in student’s success in any of these
areas and you want to serve God, we are looking for you.
You will be
working with Leaders Jeff Widor and
Pastor Colson in this important ministry.
Technical
Skills
Sound Board
Operators – for Worship Center. Learn how to operate
sound system for the Blended and Contemporary Services.
Training sessions are provided on Tuesdays from 6:45 to

Projectionist -
to operate computer in Worship Center to project words for
congregational singing and power point presentations. Training
Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. and at other times as scheduled.

Trainees -
need people interested in being trained to operate equipment
for video recording, DVD players, and simulcast presentations.

Care Center

Classroom Helper (3's): Needed
to work one-on-one with a preschool child (or small group) in order to strengthen
their writing skills, memorization of the alphabet, and practicing with numbers.Weekdays:
1 hour per week.
Classroom Helper
(4's): Volunteer
needed to help four-year-old students with scissor skills
and writing their names. Weekdays: 1 hour per week.
Computer Helper -
Child Care Center. Tuesday or Thursday for approximately
15-20 minutes a week.
School-age Program -
Child Care Center. Volunteers needed to help with special
projects/occassions/holiday crafts. Approximately 1 hour
per month.
Homework
Helpers (School-Age Program): Needed
to help students with homework. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
or Thursday: 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Child Care Center - Volunteer to help with emergency maintenance
situations (lighting, toilet overflowing, etc). Contact Pastor

Administrative
Assistance – Person or persons interested in providing
assistance such as data entry and preparing publicity pieces
using Microsoft Word. Needs vary making scheduling flexible.
1 to 3 hours weekly.
Behind the Scenes "Organizer" – to
assist with storage of supplies in the Resource Room and
storage areas, as needed. Average 2 hours per week.
"ER" (emergency rockers) – 9:45
am on Sunday morning. Need four or five persons who will
be on call to serve as “emergency rockers” in the
nursery when an extra pair of arms is needed to soothe a
crying baby. TIME: 30 minutes to an hour as needed.
Worship
Musicians
and Vocalists - to participate in Blended and Contemporary
Service Praise Teams. Practice time for Blended is Tuesday
from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Practice for Contemporary is Tuesday
from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. Contact Dan Schofield at dan@lowchurch.org or

Planning
and Administration
Family Ministry
Team Member - work with Elder Mark Nowacki
and Pastor Schafer to help them envision, plan, and involve
others in connecting families
to God and each other. Fresh ideas and enthusiasm needed.
Time commitment varies, but probably a few hours a month.
